Continue past Inspiration Point into the canyon proper — the most rewarding moderate hike in the park, with constant peak views and frequent moose.
Lake Solitude (14.4 mi)
A long full-day epic to a 9,035-ft glacial cirque lake. Strenuous but unforgettable.
Paintbrush Canyon to Lake Solitude Loop (19.2 mi)
The classic Teton day-loop or overnight — over Paintbrush Divide at 10,720 ft. Snow lingers into August.
Delta Lake (7.4 mi)

Amphitheater Lake (10.1 mi)
A 3,000-ft climb to two alpine lakes in a glacial cirque under Disappointment Peak.

Family-friendly. Aspens, burn meadows, and a glassy lake with the Grand reflected at sunrise.

A scenic loop from the Laurance Rockefeller Preserve past the famous jumping rock.
String & Leigh Lake (7.4 mi)
Two flat lakeside trails strung together — among the most peaceful walks in the park.
Death Canyon (8–16 mi)
A dramatic glacier-carved canyon with towering walls, a historic patrol cabin, and access to the Death Canyon Shelf.
